Joshua Harris

Joshua Harris
serves as senior pastor of Covenant Life Church in Gaithersburg, Md., a role he assumed in September, 2004. For the three preceding years he led Covenant Life in its day-to-day operations and direction as executive pastor. Joshua is the best-selling author of four books: I Kissed Dating Goodbye, Boy Meets Girl, Sex Is Not the Problem (Lust Is), and Stop Dating the Church.

Currently he also serves on The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood , a body which seeks to set forth the Bible's teaching about the complementary differences between men and women for the health of the family and the church.

From 1999 to 2004, Joshua directed the New Attitude conference for young adults hosted by Sovereign Grace Ministries. He has since handed off leadership of "Na" to Eric Simmons , but continues to speak at the event, now held annually in Louisville, Ky.

Joshua lives with his wife, Shannon, their two daughters, and a son in Gaithersburg.
